Still Have Your Car With Us? - COVID-19

At MG Cannon, we're doing all we can right now to protect the safety and well-being of our employees, our valued customers, and their vehicles. 

So, though our sites may be temporarily closed, if your car is still with us, you can rest assured that it’s covered by our insurance and in the safest possible hands.

Wherever possible, all vehicles are being kept indoors at our premises, with daily site checks carried out on site fencing, locked storage compounds and internal areas to ensure maximum security at all times. 

Any vehicles left outside our workshop in our secure compounds are normally our own staff cars, courtesy cars or total-loss vehicles awaiting collection.

Cars we were working on before we closed down are all in our workshops and have protective covers on all open apertures to protect against dust ingress, while convertible roofs are also covered with waterproof plastic to ensure the fabric is protected.

We are also periodically checking brakes and batteries to ensure everything is ok. If you drive an electric car, we'd also like to reassure you that your battery is being periodically checked and, when necessary, re- charged to prevent problems occurring. 

By now, we’ll have spoken to every customer who currently has their vehicle with us to inform you of these and other steps we’re taking to look after your vehicle.
