Vacancy - MET Technician, Plymouth

We are looking for a MET Technician who will be based at our Plymouth site. You will be required to fit and strip both mechanical and body parts from vehicles including body panel, interiors, mechanical parts and electrical elements. Your responsibilities will include

  • Remove & refit mechanical and electrical trims / panels / components on vehicles
  • Wheel Alignment – (training will be provided if necessary)
  • Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition
  • Fault finding / Diagnostics
  • Mechanical Skills and MET Skills
  • Perform road testing (if applicable)
  • Awareness & adherence to all necessary standards and H&S procedures

About you

You will be a highly-motivated, driven individual who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In your application you will be able to demonstrate a City & Guild Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair. You will have at least 2 years’ MET experience. The ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential and training will be provided to achieve this.

To be considered you must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and will hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
