Visit to Haynes International Motor Museum, Somerset
We held our latest group managers meeting at The Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, Somerset. A fitting venue for our management team to look back, review our momentous year, discuss the pace of change and ensure our business model remains aligned to the global, regional and national trends.
The museum boasts the UK's largest collection of the greatest cars from around the world, from the dawn of motoring in the late 1800s through nostalgic classics to world renowned super cars like the Jaguar XJ220.
Our meetings bring together Bodyshop and Magic Managers, Group Finance, HR, Compliance, Marketing and Group Directors. It's an opportunity to review successes, share information, identify future obstacles, learn from each other and keep all departments aligned toward the company’s strategic goals and where we want to be.
The day kicked off with guest speaker, Steven Hames from Audatex, who discussed the benefits of AudaProfile, check the checker and consistent best practice processes.
With the theme for the day - One Year On! led by Robert Snook, an open forum allowed everyone to discuss Where were we? Where are we now? How did we get here? How does it feel? Where are we going? Why? How will we get there? and when do we need to be there? The interaction of the team was outstanding example of our brand culture.
We ended the day with a museum tour to remind ourselves that products and brands that don’t change, don’t meet market demands and don’t prepare for the future end up in museums. Our team left fully confident that we have a sound and sustainable strategy to build our brand with our customers, business partners and local communities.
